Dr. Hany Demian

Dr. Hany Demian is an emergency room physician who has been practicing emergency medicine for over a decade in Canada. Dr. Demian completed his medical degree in 2000 and graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Having worked in over 35 of the largest emergency departments in Canada, Dr. Demian has spent many hours assisting patients in dealing with incidents of sudden and/or acute pain often associated with chronic pain related conditions. This eventually sparked his interest as to how he could assist patients in managing chronic pain proactively as opposed to reactively. Dr. Demian has explored this special interest, on a large scale, and has undergone extensive training in pain management. He has successfully added the specialized focus in chronic pain management by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Demian is considered an expert in medical, interventional and unconventional pain management.

Dr. Demian is actively licensed in the provinces of Ontario , Alberta , and Nova Scotia. To compliment he is further licensed in Egypt and New Zealand. He is currently a staff member at Norfolk General Hospital, Brantford General Hospital, and assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster university.

Dr. Demian is known amongst the medical community for pioneering the use of bedside ultrasound (ultrasound use at point-of-care) within the emergency department in Canada. He has been teaching bedside ultrasound for over six years to physicians across Canada, and has been instrumental in raising awareness of this highly useful method of practice. He is considered an expert in ultrasound guided interventional pain management.

During the last few years, Dr. Demian has further specialized, and has recently been recognized for his proficiency in headache and chronic migraine. Over the past several years, Dr. Demian has been helping hundreds of chronic migraine patients as well as chronic pain patients to lead a healthy pain free life.

As a leader in this area of expertise and one of the pioneers in the therapeutic Botox ® therapy, Dr. Demian travels nationally to lecture on the topic of chronic migraine care.

Dr. Nadir Al-Jazrawi

Dr. Nadir Al-Jazrawi is a Canadian non-surgical chronic pain management specialist, recognized nationally as one of the leading experts in his field. He graduated with a medical degree in 1997 from Baghdad University and went on to complete fellowship work in Canada focusing on chronic pain management. In addition to this, Dr. Al-Jazrawi has wide-ranging expertise and training within the field of cosmetic medicine. Recognizing a need to cater to Canada’s ageing population outside the realm of aesthetics, Dr. Al-Jazrawi combines his expertise in the administration of cosmetic medicines such as Botox® and his compassion for those living with chronic pain to deliver health care that is fueled by innovation and supported by evidence.

An esteemed member of our medical staff and asset to our organization, Dr. Al-Jazrawi currently serves as the medical director for the largest Chronic Pain Management clinic in Ontario, Canada and is committed to remaining at the forefront of this evolving and growing field of specialty.

Prior to moving to Pain Care Clinics, Dr. Al-Jazrawi served as the medical director of the largest Chronic Pain Management clinic in Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Mangesh Inamdar

Dr. Inamdar graduated on a scholarship from McGill University in 1995 as one of the youngest physicians in Canada. After a 4 year residency, he began practicing emergency medicine in various hospitals throughout Ontario. He is currently on active staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Over 12 years ago, he undertook specialized training in chronic pain management and is recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario has having a focused practice in Chronic Pain. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University and was a former recipient of the coveted Governor General's Award. He has taught advanced cardiac life support to many physicians throughout Ontario. He has also taught ultrasound guided procedures and currently supervises other pain physicians during their training.

He has been recognized for his clinical acumen and has appeared in Reader's Digest, the Toronto Star and television.

Dr. John Girgis

Dr. John Girgis, ND completed the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto after studying biology at Concordia University in Montreal.

Following his studies, he completed an internship at the Queen West Community Health Centre which exposed him to a wide range of patients in a family medicine practice. It was his first opportunity working with a family doctor which stimulated his interest in integrating the best of conventional and naturopathic medicine. In addition to family medicine, his interest in how the environment affects our health led him to complete a 1 year program for health professionals at McMaster University in environmental and occupational Health. During the time in the program he worked with Dr. Allison Bested, MD who is a renowned authority on the topic of environmental medicine, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and multiple chemical sensitivities. He believes that addressing any health concern involves a whole person approach - taking into consideration one’s environment, diet, and lifestyle. This approach and his experiences at McMaster led him to lecture extensively in workplaces and provide workplace health promotion programs for employees.

In addition, he has had extra training in anti-aging medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement, and intravenous vitamin therapy.

In his clinical practice he utilizes current research to provide safe and effective therapies taking into account conventional medications his patients may be taking. He takes an individualized and integrative approach when treating patients using: • Clinical nutrition and nutritional supplementation • I.V. vitamin infusion and injection therapy • Medical acupuncture (for pain management) • Botanical (herbal) medicine • Lifestyle counseling

He is licensed to practice Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario and in good standing with the Board of Drugless Practitioners-Naturopathy (BDDT-N), and holds a professional membership with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
